ERS entered the cell phone market in early 2002 and has progressed from simply marketing as-is handsets to providing a full array of products and services through its subsidiary, CertiCell, which is located in Louisville, KY.

In addition to offering the most competitive pricing for used cell phones, CertiCell provides the following services for the cell phone industry:

Retail Collection

CertiCell offers a retail collection package for companies seeking to collect used handsets at a kiosk or retail store. The components of this service can be customized to meet the needs of the client company and can include CertiCell providing the following:

• Branded point-of-purchase style collection containers
• Branded signage and collateral materials
• Returns tracking

Battery Recertification

Through CertiCell, ERS can offer recertified batteries. These batteries are tested and evaluated through a proprietary process developed specifically for the purpose of qualifying, initializing and recertifying NiCad, NI-MH, and Li-Ion batteries.

Batteries that are suitable for re-use are cosmetically refurbished and offered at a cost much more attractive than the OEM equivalent.
