  1. What cartridges can I sell to you?
Empty laser and inkjet printer cartridges are like many other commodities and are subject to current market supply and demand conditions. Consequently, you can view a current list of cartridges we purchase. This list will keep you up to date with the cartridges ERS is currently buying.
  2. How much do you pay for cartridges?
Prices are dependent upon current market conditions and can change on a daily basis. Please view our current price list for the most up to date prices.
  3. For how long are your prices good?
Constantly changing market conditions sometimes require frequent pricing changes. Cartridge prices are good only for the day on which you received our price list or were given a quoted price.
  4. Do you buy previously refilled inkjets?
Occasionally we do buy previously refilled inkjet cartridges. Please call for details at 1.800.842.9923.
  5. Who pays for shipping when I sell cartridges to ERS?
If you are selling 250 or more lasers or 1000 or more inkjets, ERS will arrange shipping and pay freight charges. For a complete shipping/payment guide, check out the Terms & Conditions or our Shipping Calculator.
  6. When should I call ERS to sell my cartridges?
Call ERS when your cartridges are packaged and ready to ship. In most cases a pickup can be scheduled for the following day.
  7. Can I contact the freight company?
Definitely. In many cases freight companies need special instructions concerning times and locations of pickups. Check first with ERS to ensure you are calling a carrier that has an existing account with ERS.
  8. Is it mandatory for me to have a loading dock?
Loading docks are ideal, but not mandatory. Orders should be stacked on a skid and shrink-wrapped, but without a loading dock this method will not work. Instead you can tape your boxes in bundles or bulk pack them in larger boxes that can be easily lifted onto the truck.
  9. What if cartridges are damaged during shipping?
If the cartridges are broken because of the way they were handled by the freight company, ERS will file a freight claim for the damage. If the cartridges are broken due to improper packaging for shipping, the customer is responsible for replacing or reimbursing ERS for the damaged cartridges.
